Circa: 1937-1942. The tripod candle holders are perhaps the hardest pieces of vintage fiestaware to find without damage. With 27 corners on the tiers it is all too common to find them with chips on the edges. Since I make it a practice not to buy Fiestaware with any damage it took a long time to make my first purchase of a pair of the candle holders (occassionally a single will appear, but it is the rare treat to find an original pair in mint condition). This example in turquoise boasts perfect condition.

Circa 1937-1944. The Fiesta bulb candle holder is a great, affordable, unique piece of the fiestaware line to collect. Less likely to be found with damage than the tripod candle holders and at a fraction of the price. Marked in the mold on the sides of the bottom, note this pair has the quality controllers initial stamp also on the bottom, something I like to see because it means these were passed by inspectors as first quality. Excellent condition and no damage and no touchups, repairs, scratches or unsightly factory flaws. A great item in the ever popular original red Fiesta glaze.

Circa 1936 -1946: Another one of those rare treats that expands outside the dinnerware line to accessorize the art of the table. Playing on the bulbous form (like that found in the mustard, marmalade and ice lip pitcher), the bulb candlesticks flow well into the fiestaware line.

Circa 1936-1942: Three supporting tiers form Fredrick Rhead's candlestick holders design. Produced for seven years and not big sellers at the time, makes the demand for the tripod candle holders high. Slip cast from a highly detailed four part mold and formed from liquid clay, the survival rate of this delicate piece is slim. This pair boasts perfect condition and phenomenally are both stamped with the quality controllers mark "ER". It is very rare to find an original pair of candlesticks not only in perfect condition, but in the most desirable early red glaze and marked with the same initials as belonging together. Marked in the mold on the bottom "fiesta HLCo USA" and fully glazed.
