Circa: 1936 - 1946. Here's a piece you just don't see everyday, the original cream soup bowl from Homer Laughlin Pottery Company. Probably originally intended for the century line, with its creamy vellum ivory glaze, this piece has come to be a stand in alongside the Riviera line or to mix and match a rare piece in your vintage fiesta collection. The great piece touts hand applied handles and a hand shaped foot, original ivory glaze and this example is use or damage free. Please note some minor glaze irregularities and a spot or two of shifting in the flaze, totally irrelevant and expected in one of the few examples of this piece I have had the privilege of seeing and the only one I've owned. I'm sure this will be a welcome addition to any collection (shown here atop a rare cobalt Riviera 7" underplate).
