Circa 1936-1938: Bottom Rings. The original Fiesta yellow glaze has not been beat in its absolutely perfect hue. The vintage sunny yellow is a delight on the great expanse of the #5 Fiesta mixing bowl. This example with the inside bottom rings is spectacular. Concentric rings on inside bottom, top and outside are well defined and the whole bowl looks unused. No damage or use and the yellow glaze is just perfectly even and creamy. At most a couple of small pin pops, but no where distracting. Perfect rim and wonderful application of yellow for the first version of the classic Fiesta nesting bowl make this a special example indeed. Interestingly marked on the bottom in the mold with the later mark usually found on bowls without inside bottom rings (probably indicating this bowl is more towards 1938) "HLC fiesta MADE IN USA" .
