Circa 1936 - 1938: Kitchen bowls are an iconic item that have been in use longer than most of our modern necessities. The Fiesta version of the classic kitchen bowl is a great fusion of ultra modern with classic utility. The number 5 size seems giant and ready for anything. Decorated around its 26" circumfrence, it really is life size. This example in the original Homer Laughlin vellum glaze is in excellent condition. Nice and clean with no glaze irregularities or skips. No scratches inside or out and no chips or use anywhere along the rim. Please note there are a few immeasurable spots on the inside from use that may be to small to detect in my pictures. (I've shown them in the 5th picture, 2o'clock out from the center and the 6th picture, 8o'clock out from the center). Otherwise what you have here is a barely used, excellent condition vintage ivory fiesta mixing bowl in the wonderful vintage ivory. Marked on the bottom in the mold with the impressed mark "HLCo fiesta MADE IN USA" . Measures 8 9/16" w x 5 11/16h"
