mixing bowl lids were the first piece cut from production. Within six months they were discontinued, leaving behind none in turquoise and few in anything larger than a size made for the number four sized nesting bowl. Owning any is a rare treat and I know a few collectors who have completed the whole set of twenty! This version in yellow for the #2 sized bowl would be a treat in any collection. I hand picked this lid from a large collection as the best of all with no scratches on the top and no chips or dings and excellent even glaze coverage. Only a slight discoloration on the inside dry foot, as shown above in the fifth photo, and a couple small sand bumbs on the outside edge of the lid, otherwise just great, with no scratches from use, great shiney glaze without mishaps or damage. Measures 6 1/6" across. The mixing bowl lid is highly coveted and this example in original yellow for the #2 mixing bowl is a fantastic treat.
